  1. Online technologies are coordinated through the IACET main website. The webinar page links to the AP Connection, AP Application Assistance, and IACET 101 webinar schedules. These links then list the webinar date and title. Clicking on a title links to a description of the event including purpose, learning outcomes, and presenters expertise on the subject. There is additional information regarding registration fees and the registration process (International Association of Continuing Education and Training, 2011).

  2. I agree, the online technology is being managed through IACET main website. This type of management does not allow the user to connect into the seminar unless he or she can access the organization’s website. If the website is down or overwhelmed by users, then the organization lost the ability to have a course. A way to create a secure system for the organization that is not depended on the organization website is though an online webinar provider. The organization will email a password, the instructor can see who is in the course, set up chats or allow students to speak.

IACET manages its online modules by allowing organizations to purchase necessary course materials that fit along with their programs and are designed for their programs. once purchased, and as mentioned in a previous post, once the organizations purchase their modules, it is accessible through the organizations website and not the IACET website. So it is up to the purchasing organizations to make sure they have all of the necessary tools needed to provide for the users.

    I also have to agree that the IACET manages its modules through the purchases of the participants. One the they have decide the programs that the want the materials are matched up to the program of the participants choice. As in the previous post all purchases are decided they go to the organization website to finalize everything.
