A thorough examination of the IACET website does not provide information regarding bandwidth and the capability of implementing Web 2.0 tools. The organization assumes that its webinars and online modules are designed with the appropriate software that is compatible with the majority of web browsers. Availability for downloading the content for future access is not disclosed.
IACET does talk about exclusive webinars, which means they are able to implement web 2.0. “AP accreditation connects you with anetwork of CE/T peers through exclusive webinars and IACET’s bi-monthly eNewsletter” (International Association of Continuing Education and Training, 2011, para. 3). IACET is using web-based online course development and implementation through webinars. I noticed a schedule of dates and times the webinars are offered, therefore I am assuming the courses are live.
